Officials remove encroachments

OMALUR: Officials from Omalur town panchayat along with a team of police personnel removed encroachments in the bus stand here on Friday.

Vendors had occupied the pavements and platforms in the bus stand. Despite repeated warning, the vendors had failed to remove their shops.

Officials had removed a number of shops established on the pavements on Friday.
