a phone call regarding a trouble, offence or crime, the Station House officers have been instructed to register the same in the register with the name of the caller, phone number, place and time and also the time taken by the police in responding to the call. In the event of non-compliance or reluctance on the part of the police officer, the affected persons in Coimbatore Rural District, Erode and the Nilgiris could report the matter either in writing to the office of the DIG of Police, Coimbatore Range, Red Fields, Coimbatore 641 018 or over phone at 95-422-2221500.
