Engineer robbed

NEW DELHI: An engineer was allegedly robbed of Rs.10,000 by four young men near ITO on Saturday. The incident took place around 4 p.m. when Pardul Negi, who works for a company at R.K. Puram, was returning after withdrawing Rs.14,000 from an ATM booth. Though police have registered a case, they have doubts about the complainant’s version. “We are verifying his statement,” said an officer.
