Bhagirathi water treatment plant also being repaired NEW DELHI: The Delhi Jal Board has announced that due to repair work on a West Delhi mains, water supply will be affected on Sunday evening and Monday morning in several areas of the Capital. The areas likely to be affected are Raja Garden, Tagore Garden, Ramesh Nagar, Khyala, Rani Bagh, Moti Nagar, Shardapuri, Tihar Village, Tilak Nagar, Rajouri Garden, Ashok Vihar, Varun Niketan, Partli Shakurpur Jhuggi Jhompri Colony, Shakurpur Village, Karampura, Saraswati Garden, Punjabi Bagh, Ashok Nagar, Kirti Nagar, Hari Nagar and adjoining region.Pitampura, Mansarover Garden, Vishnu Garden, Subhash Nagar, Jail Road, Shalimar Bagh and parts of Uttam Nagar, Hastsaal, Om Vihar and Mohan Garden will also be affected. Also because of urgent repairing work at the Bhagirathi water treatment plant, supply will be affected on Monday evening in Madhuban, Nirman Vihar, Shakarpur, Mandawali Fazalpur, Trilokpuri, Ghazipur, New Kondli BPS, Jagriti Water Emergency, Azad Nagar, Shahdara, Welcome Colony, Seelampur JJ Cluster, Mayur Vihar Phase-II, Chitra Vihar BPS, DDA Booster Dallupura, Mandawali B-Block, West Vinod Nagar, Housing Societies located on Narwana Road and adjoining areas. Water supply will be available at low pressure on Sunday in Jama Masjid, Duzana House, Pahari Imli Chandni Chowk, Dariba, Pataudi House, Mansarover Park, Anand Vihar, Suraj Mal Vihar, Bahubali Enclave, AGCR Enclave and adjoining areas, E-2 Sector -15 Rohini, Mubarakpur Village, WP Block Pitampura, 6-Block Kalkaji DDA Flats, Hem Kund Colony and Mahipalpur due to annual flushing of the booster pumping station. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
