HYDERABAD: The city police discovered on Saturday that terror suspect Talha had left his passport and educational certificates with his co-worker and friend Kabir. Talha, a youngster hailing from Azamgarh of Uttar Pradesh and working with a noted IT company in Hyderabad, was arrested in Nagpur by Anti-Terrorist Squad of Maharashtra while travelling in a Hyderabad-bound train, a week ago. The police stumbled upon these documents while searching the residence of Kabir, who hails from Chennai, in the city. Talha used to work with the IT company in New Delhi, but was transferred to Hyderabad recently. Before leaving the city on September 26, he handed over the passport and other certificates to Kabir stating that he would collect them on his return. Police said Talha secured the passport while he was in Oklah industrial area in Delhi. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
