Legends CC triumphs

HARIPAD: Legends CC, Kollam scored a thrilling one wicket win over MCC, Malappuram and won the title in the K.K.Sreenivasan memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the GBHSS ground here on Sunday.

Chasing 258 for a win, Legends CC rode on Vinod Dev’s blistering 75 off 37 balls to squeeze out the win with three balls to spare.

MCC, Malappuram 257 for nine in 40 overs (Rehman 72, Shabir 49, Sandeep threefor 42) lost to Legends CC, Kollam 258 for nine in 39.3 overs (Vinod Dev, 74, Sony 52).
