Prajula shines

KARAIKUDI: Prajula scalped five wickets as Calicut scored a 76-run win over Devi Ahilya and booked a place in the final of the South West Zone inter-university cricket tournament for women here on Sunday.

The scores (semifinals):

Calicut 164 for seven in 47 overs (Shani 40) bt Devi Ahilya 88 in 26 overs (Prajula five for 28).

Gujarat 154 in 47.4 overs lost to Mumbai 155 for five in 39.3 overs (Apoorva 50, Nirmala 42 not out).
