KOCHI: Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Murli Deora said here on Monday that the government would soon take steps to reduce the prices of petroleum products. Delivering the inaugural address at the felicitation of Hibi Eden, president of the National Students Union of India, Mr. Deora said the government might also consider reducing the prices of LPG cylinders. The Minister said oil prices in the international market had come down to $37 to $38 a barrel. He said the government had already reduced the prices of petroleum products in view of the cut in international prices.
