Tributes to tsunami victims

Observance of a two-minute silence, floral tributes and multi-religion prayers marked the fourth anniversary of the 2004 tsunami organised recently by the islanders of Port Blair. Lieutenant Governor Bhopinder Singh led the simple ceremony at the Tsunami Memorial located at Port Blair’s Aberdeen Water Sports Complex by laying a wreath and paying a floral tribute. People from all walks of life took part in the tribute.
