Made Gowda. In a press release issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, the transfer of the two senior district officials has been ordered so that an impartial and smooth inquiry can be conducted into the incident.

Inquiry

Regional Commissioner M.V. Jayanthi has been asked to conduct an inquiry and submit a report to the State Government.

The former Chief Minister S.M. Krishna has condemned the incident. He said that it was an attempt to criminalise politics with anti-social elements attempting to terrorise law-abiding citizens. Mr. Made Gowda, he said was a senior leader and veteran politician, who could have his own preferences in electoral politics. Mr. Krishna demanded that the anti-social elements be brought to book.
