Delhi beats M.P.

BHILAI: Delhi scored a 4-0 victory over Madhya Pradesh in a cluster VII match to qualify for the 45th junior National football championship for the Dr B. C. Roy Trophy here.

The highlight of the match was three goals by Ankit Sharma with Raghav Khurana scoring the fourth.

Delhi has been clubbed with Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand in group ‘B’ of the quarterfinal league. Delhi plays Uttar Pradesh on January 1 followed by matches against Jharkhand on January 3 and Chandigarh on January 5.
