Kakinada: The students of V.S. Lakshmi Women’s Degree and P.G College won prizes in literary and music competitions conducted as part of the golden jubilee celebrations of BVK College, Visakhapatnam, recently.

P Sireesha won the first prize in English debate on the topic `India’s stand towards terrorism is commendable’, Sonali Jain and P Sireesha won the second prize in a Hindi debate on the theme Valentines’ Day, NSS Srava, CDVP Saisree and M Bharati won the second prize in the quiz competition.

In the music section, S Sameeraja won the second prize in classical solo.

S Sameeraja, RVS Sireesha, M Sravanti, N Bharati, BH Aruna and T Satya Priya won the second prize in patriotic songs competition.

College principal V Sandhya, vice-principal M Padmaja and other employees of the college congratulated the girls on their achievements in the competitions.
