MCD hints at go-slow in sealing drive

New Delhi: As the Centre plans a fresh ordinance to give relief to various categories of properties from sealing, the MCD on Wednesday made it clear that it will go slow with the drive against unauthorised commercial units. The moratorium on penal action against a number of categories of commercial properties expires on Wednesday. However, MCD Standing Committee Chairman Vijender Gupta said that there is no reason to speculate that a special sealing drive will start from this (Thursday) morning itself.
