Copies burnt

MANGALORE: Anti-social elements allegedly burnt the copies of Karavali Ale newspaper on Wednesday morning after snatching them from a delivery boy. Editor-in-chief of the newspaper B.V. Seetaram has complained to the Press Council of India that more than 200 copies of the paper were burnt at the bus stand in Mulki town, near here. In a letter to council chairman G.N. Ray and its members, he said that the attacks had continued despite the communications sent by the PCI to Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa to ensure free functioning of Karavali Ale. — Special Correspondent
