Two killed in accident

TIRUVARUR: Two persons – Pakkirisamy (65), a retired teacher of Kallikudi village near Tiruthuraipoondi and his sister’s husband Elangovan (55), a railway employee at Chennai - were killed on the spot when the motorcycle they were riding hit a lorry at Tiruthuraipoondi in Tiruvarur district on Tuesday night.

Police sources said

that the accident occurred while they were returning home after attending a function.
