Chennai: Club India suffered its third defeat after starting well in the 1st Asia Cup Club team chess championship at Al-Ain in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday. All the Indians were higher rated in this sixth round game against the Mongolian team Mon-Cad but yet they lost the two black boards and drew in the white games to lose 1-3. The losers were the Chennai duo of R.R. Laxman and P. Karthikeyan while Deep Sengupta and S. Nitin made draws with white pieces. Al-Ain (UAE), the host, is leading with five wins and one draw.
