Jaundice: meeting held

Thrissur: A meeting of health supervisors of primary health centres was organised here on Thursday to discuss the steps to be taken to check the outbreak of jaundice in the district.

Health Department has intensified the awareness campaign across the district as several cases of jaundice outbreak have been reported from various places in the district, said District Medical Officer (DMO) V. Divakaran.

Chlorination of water bodies and awareness programmes would be conducted on ward-basis under the ‘Arogya Kerala’ project.
