Lucknow: Four men, including two carrying rewards, were killed in shoot-outs with the police in separate encounters in Bijnore and Ghazipur districts of Uttar Pradesh, Home department sources said here on Thursday. Anis and Shadab -- carrying rewards of Rs 2,500 each -- and an accomplice were killed in a shoot-out in Mayapuri village under Nagal police circle in Bijnore district last night, they said. Seven policemen, including a circle officer, were injured in the exchange of fire. Two country-made pistols, a rifle and a number of cartridges were recovered from their possession.
