Bajaj brothers reach amicable settlement

NEW DELHI: Rahul Bajaj-led Bajaj group on Thursday said that it had reached a settlement with the Shishir Bajaj (SKB) group, which will lead to an amicable division of the family’s business empire. The Bajaj group, comprising Rahul, Shekhar, Madhur and Niraj and their families, has come to an amicable settlement with the SKB group under a family settlement agreement signed on December 21, 2008.

“The Bajaj Group shareholding in Bajaj Hindusthan and Bajaj Consumer Care is now with the SKB Group. The promoter shareholdings of all other companies in the Bajaj Group, including those held by the SKB Group, are now with the four brothers of the Bajaj Group,” the statement added. — PTI
