CHENNAI: At the audio launch on Thursday of the much awaited film ‘Naan Kadavul’ directed by Bala, the trailer showed a supernatural mix of the spiritual and the temporal. Yet, the lead actor Aarya says that the film with an intelligent dose of innovation focusses more on the delicately interwoven human relations.

“It is going to be a path-breaking movie,” says the actor.

The three years of consistent hard work seems contracted in time as the magnificence of the end product is wonderful, he adds.

“This film has nothing to do with God,” said P.S.Swaminathan of Pyramid Saimira.

Actor Aarya says he has worked very hard on the fight sequences in the film. One of the most important aspects of the film that he cherished was his appearance.

The audio launch function provided an opportunity for people to extol director Bala. “I have come here as a fan of director Bala,” said acclaimed director Manirathnam.

Director Balumahendra, the mentor of Bala, said that the film would fetch international awards and be a harbinger of a better new year 2009 for Kollywood. The curiosity of technicians and film buffs has increased as the film has been directed by the director of films such as ‘Sethu,’ ‘Nandha’ and ‘Pithamagan,’ said Rama Narayanan, president of Tamil Film Producers’ Association.

Lyricist Valee, actors Vikram and Surya were among those who participated.
