“No plans to sell MCD schools”

NEW DELHI: Municipal Corporation of Delhi Standing Committee chairman Vijender Gupta on Friday clarified that the civic body has no plans to auction or sell its primary school premises to bolster its finances. The MCD, he added, is against auctioning or selling of its schools.

Municipal Commissioner K. S. Mehra also denied reports that such a proposal was under consideration.
