Applications invited for job-oriented courses

COIMBATORE: Avinashilingam Jan Shikshan Sansthan has invited applications for the following training courses from those who have completed Standard VIII and are aged between 15 and 35.

Men who have completed Standard VIII can apply for the following courses – cell phone repairing, two-wheeler repairing, plumbing, motor winding, tailoring, refrigeration and air conditioner repairing.

Courses for jobs as turner, auto electrician, fitter, machinist and electrician are also open to these candidates.

For men who have completed Standard X , courses in tool and dye making and CNC lathe operation are available.

Women who have completed Standard X can apply for Ophthalmic Nursing Assistant and Orthopaedic Nursing Assistant courses.

Those who have completed Standard X can apply for computer application, desk-top publishing, Photoshop and web-page designing. Candidates who have knowledge in fashion designing and beauty culture can apply for fashion designing and beauty culture courses too.

Those who have completed Plus-Two with accounts as main subject can apply for Tally 9.0.

The trainees will be offered stipend and employment on successful completion of the course.

Applicants can apply in white paper with details of name and address enclosing two self-addressed envelopes with Rs. 5 stamp to The Director, Avinashilingam Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Alagesan Road, Coimbatore – 641043 on or before January 19.
