BANGALORE: A 23-year-old woman who was set ablaze, allegedly by her husband, at Agarahara Dasarahalli on Thursday succumbed to her burns. The police said Vijayamma and Nagaraj, living in 2nd Cross, Agrahara Dasarahalli, quarrelled in the morning which resulted in the husband dousing her with kerosene and setting her ablaze. Neighbours brought Vijayamma to Victoria Hospital, where she died. The Kamakshipalya police have registered a case of murder and are looking for Nagaraj, a Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike employee. Killed in accidentA 25-year-old milk vendor died when he was hit by a car while he was carrying a crate of milk packets in Kalyannagar near Nagarabhavi on Friday. The police said Naga, a native of Maddur taluk, was crossing the road to deposit the milk when he was hit. He died in a nearby hospital. The Byatarayanapura police registered a case and arrested the car driver. In another incident, a 23-year-old man was killed when he was hit by a car near Yelahanka Air Force Station on Friday. The Yelahanka traffic police are yet to identify the victim. TheftGold and cash, worth Rs. 2.5 lakh, were stolen from the home of Ravi Prashant at Murugeshpalya on Friday. The police said the family was asleep when the theft occurred. The Airport police have sent fingerprints retrieved from the scene of crime for analysis. SuicideKristan, a car mechanic, died after jumping into a well near a hotel opposite Russell Market on Friday.
