VIRUDHUNAGAR: The Tamil Nadu Government Department Vehicle Drivers’ Association has sought proper shelter for the ambulances of Virudhunagar headquarters hospital. In a memorandum submitted to Virudhunagar MLA R. Varadarajan, its district secretary K. Kannan, said that the hospital had 10 ambulances. In the absence of proper shelter the vehicles were left in the open. Being exposed to rain and shine, the vehicles were prone to become worn out. State funds spent on the vehicles would go waste, he said. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
