KRISHNAGIRI: Collector V.K. Shanmugam distributed Rs. 3.90 lakh as relief aid to those killed and injured in the cooking gas cylinder blast in Hosur in March 2007.

A press notes issued said, six persons, including two children were killed, and 10 people were injured in the cylinder blast that occurred on March 22 at the TNHB colony on Royakottai Road in Hosur. The relief amount has been distributed from the Chief Minister’s general relief fund, the note added.
