Yadagirigutta temple official in ACB net

HYDERABAD: Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday ‘caught’ V. Ram Mohan Rao, Superintendent (legal lease and civil section), holding additional charge of accounts section, Sri Laxminarayana Swamy Devasthanam, Yadagarigutta, in Nalgonda district, while he was accepting Rs.1,500 as bribe from the complainant for doing an official favour.

A press release issued by the ACB here said Rao had demanded the amount for allowing the complainant to keep the stock of dry coconuts in the old TTD choultry which is under the control of the devasthanam.

The officials recovered the tainted cash from him. Rao is being arrested and produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases, Hyderabad. Investigation is on.
