HYDERABAD: Vice-chairman of Maytas Infra B. Teja Raju, elder son of Chairman of Saytam Computer Services B. Ramalinga Raju, assumed the additional charge as CEO of Maytas Infra. A company release said that he took over the reigns of the company in the absence of CEO P. K. Madhav.

Mr. Madhav was arrested in connection with a case of Nagarjuna Finance, along with NFL’s Chairman K. S. Raju. “During the absence of Mr. Madhav, Mr. Teja Raju will take charge of additional responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer. At the operational level, due to the depth and breadth of leadership it is business as usual at Maytas Infra,” said the company.

Maytas Infra was one of the two companies proposed for acquisition by Satyam Computer on December 16.
