No water supply

Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board (Maintenance Division), Pilloor, has announced that due to essential maintenance works proposed to be taken up on January 6 and 7 in the water transmission main of the Pilloor water supply scheme, some areas in Coimbatore City would go without water supply.

The maintenance works would be undertaken in the main water transmission line beyond the service reservoir of Vilankurichi.

In view of the same, there would be no water supply to the beneficiaries under the Pilloor water supply scheme in areas such as Madukkarai, Sulur, Sultanpet, Palladam and Pongalur Panchayat unions on January 6 and 7.

Water supply will be restored on January 7 night, according to a press release.
