Special camp for counselling at Central Prison

Coimbatore: A special camp was organised at the Coimbatore Central Prison on Thursday for providing counselling to the family members of the prison staff here.

This was to help them become entrepreneurs, if they wanted to do so.

Application forms for obtaining loans were also distributed to those who turned up at the special camp as another measure of extending assistance to the participants.

A press release that was issued here by the Superintendent of Central Prison, P. Govindarajan said that District Industries Centre, Assistant Director, M. Thangaraj and Bharathiar University Students Coordinator, M. Padmanabhan explained the objectives of the initiative that had been undertaken.
