Commissioner inspects mid-day meal scheme

Visakhapatnam: Municipal Commissioner B. Sridhar inspected the mid-day meal scheme at Prakasaraopeta School on Saturday. He enquired students about the quality of food being served to them.

He also distributed plates, donated by CMR MD Mavuri Venkataramana, to the children.

The Municipal Commissioner watched a demo on a website being developed by Consolidated Education Technology to monitor the functioning of schools at the Municipal School on Saturday. The organisation CEO Balaveera Machineni gave a Power Point presentation on the information to be provided on the website. The website would also enable sending of information through SMS to parents. Additional Commissioner Pola Bhaskar and Assistant Commissioner Rajasekhara Reddy were present.
