New Agriculture Secretary

CHENNAI: K. Nanda Kishore, Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Minerals Limited, has been appointed new Agricultural Production Commissioner and Secretary. He takes over from Surjit K. Chaudhary, who has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary and Director of Stationery and Printing, a government press release stated.

M.P. Nirmala, Special Officer and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society Ltd. (Cooptex), will assume office as Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Minerals Limited, the release added. — Special Correspondent
