PUDUKOTTAI: A free legal awareness camp was organised under the auspices of the District Legal Aid Services Authority; the Alankudi Taluk Legal Services Committee and the Keeramangalam Central JCI at Keeramangalam near Alankudi recently. The Principal District and Sessions Judge, K. Jayasankaran, in his address, said that one of the objectives of the free legal aid services was to bring down the number of cases pending before various courts. He pointed out that most of the cases pertained to road accidents and explained the steps for seeking legal remedy for the same.
