Stonemart expected to do record business

JAIPUR: The four-day “India Stonemart-2009”, beginning here on January 8, is expected to conduct business worth Rs.700 crore with the participation of about 50,000 entrepreneurs and buyers, besides giving global exposure to the stone products of the country.

The Centre for Development of Stones (CDoS) and the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) are busy making final arrangements for the mega-event to be held at a 21,000 sq. metre section in the Industrial Promotion Park at Sitapura industrial area on the outskirts of Jaipur.
