BANGALORE: The Lokayukta police caught a Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited’s meter reader while he was allegedly accepting Rs. 3,000. S. Siddalingaiahallegedly demanded Rs. 4,000 from electrical contractor M.G. Nataraju for giving electricity connection to a house in Devanahalli. Siddalingaiah agreed for Rs. 3,000. He was caught while he was allegedly receiving the money.
