Two killed in accident

SATTUR: Two cadres of the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam were killed when a Chennai-Nagercoil bus collided with a car near here on Sunday.

The police said two persons in the car -- Suresh Kumar, a MDMK functionary, and another cadre Durai Ponpandi -- were killed. They were coming to Thirumangalam from Kanyakumari. — Special Correspondent.
