NEW DELHI: Burglars struck at a BJP leader’s house in Alipur here on Saturday and allegedly made off with electronic goods and household appliances worth over Rs.1 lakh. The burglary came to light when Siddharth Sharma returned to his 1, Pragati Vihar residence on Sunday afternoon and found the doors open. “I stay in the Civil Lines area and go frequently to our Pragati Vihar house. I had come a day ago and left in the evening. When I returned on Sunday afternoon, I was shocked to find the locks broken and doors wide open. The house was all ransacked. A microwave oven, a television, a computer system and a LPG cylinder among other things were stolen,” said Mr. Sharma.
