BIDAR: Savitha Chakote has been elected president of the Bidar district chapter of the Indian Dental Association. Satish Patil was elected secretary and Swetha Megur treasurer, according to a release here on Monday. The new office-bearers of the association urged Deputy Commissioner Harsh Gupta and Superintendent of Police A. Subramanyeswara Rao to put up boards at all convenient places announcing the ban imposed on smoking in public places. — Staff Correspondent
