Worker killed

Raichur: A worker was killed on the spot and three were injured when a boiler at a rice mill burst in Gangavathi town of Koppal district on Monday. According to the police, the boiler unit at the Basaweshwara Rice Mill on the outskirts of Gangavathi exploded accidentally in the afternoon. The dead was identified as Mudukappa. The injured were admitted to the Government Civil Hospital in Gangavathi town. The Gangavathi police have registered a case. — Staff Correspondent
