Kakinada: V Ganapathi Rao, chemistry lecturer of MSN Charities Degree College, has been awarded Ph.D by Andhra University for his thesis ‘Impact of two major waste water drains (Tulyabagha and Teki) on agriculture, aquaculture and Coringa mangrove system in East Godavari district’. His study which focused on water quality parameters of the drains and their effects, was supported by correlative studies, modelling concepts and solubility curves. The economic loss caused by the above waste water systems has been evaluated, according to a press release by the college principal N Satyavathi. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
