Local holiday on Friday

Nagercoil: The district administration has declared a local holiday on January 9 in view of the car festival at Sthanumalayan temple at Suchindrum.

In a press release issued here on Monday, all Government departments and educational institutions would be closed and the second February 14 would be a working day.

However, the district and sub-treasuries would be function as usual.
