Gift for students

Thiruvananthapuram: The State-level inauguration of the free distribution of three kg of rice each as New Year gift to the 32.70 lakh students of various schools in the State was done by Food and Civil Supplies Minister C. Divakaran at a function held at Government VHS at Vattiyoorkavu here on Monday. He said the government was thinking of extending the noon-meal scheme to students of higher classes as well.
