CPI(M) veteran’s autobiography

KOCHI: State secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) Pinarayi Vijayan will release the autobiography of senior Communist leader and former member of CPI(M) Polit Bureau E. Balanandan at Chakola Grounds, Kalamassery, on Wednesday.

Another veteran Communist leader, R. Umanath, will receive the first copy of the book, titled Nadannu Theertha Vazhikal, from Mr. Vijayan. Mr. Balanandan covers the history of the Communist movement in the pre-and post-Independence period in his autobiography.

Leaders to speak

Minister for Labour P.K. Gurudasan, senior trade union leader S.C.S. Menon, K. Chandran Pillai, MP, CPI(M) leaders M.M. Lawrence and P. Rajiv, veteran leader K.C. Prabhakaran, and district secretary Gopi Kottamurickal will speak.
