CHENNAI: Vinod Daniel, chairman of the Sydney-based Australian Heritage, a network for cultural heritage services, was felicitated here on Monday for his re-appointment to the Australia-India Council. Mr. Daniel, who was recently reappointed to the Council by the Governor General of Australia, was accorded a reception under the auspices of the Indo-Australian Association. The dignitary, who has his roots in Chennai, has been responsible for implementing several cultural heritage programmes across India. The function was led by K. V.
