COIMBATORE: B. Chandrasekaran, Director of Research, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), has been conferred the national award “The Fellow of Indian Society of Agronomy” by the Indian Society of Agronomy.

The award is in recognition of his contribution in agronomy science. He has research experience in rice farming, integrated farming systems, nutrient management and water management. Mr. Chandrasekaran received the award from P.N. Rai Chowdhury, Principal Secretary of Agriculture and Co-operation, Government of Gujarat, at Navsari Agricultural University, Gujarat.
