Probe into grant of L-53 licences

NEW DELHI: Delhi Finance Minister A. K. Walia on Tuesday ordered an inquiry into grant of L-53 licences for department stores. Stating that a few discrepancies and irregularities had come to his notice, he said the probe would set things right. He said some stores which did not figure in the merit-wise list had been granted licences.
