Party to launch TV channel

Kozhikode: The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) will soon launch a television channel in Kerala, party State general secretary P.K. Kunhalikutty has said.

He told presspersons here on Tuesday that this was decided at the party’s working committee meeting.

He said the channel would mainly focus on news, though there would be some slots for entertainment also.

Party leader M.K. Muneer, who is already the chairman of India Vision TV channel, is on a committee that has been asked to work out the details of the TV channel project.

Dr. Muneer was also present at the press conference.
