Meru Cabs drivers call off strike

BANGALORE: Drivers of Meru Cabs, who were on strike seeking implementation of their various demands since December 19, withdrew the strike from Monday after an amicable settlement, said Bangalore District Taxi Drivers’ Union.

Union president K.N. Umesh has, in a release, said that a settlement was arrived at a meeting chaired by the Special Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore Urban, on Monday.
