Deichmann FC beats VSP

VISAKHAPATNAM: Deichmann FC beat Visakhapatnam Steel Plant 2-0 to move up in the sixth DRM Trophy football tournament here on Tuesday.

The team led 1-0 at half-time through a 21st minute goal by Annaji. Prasad scored the second goal five minutes after breather.

Earlier Attili Suribabu Memorial FC edged out Polamamba FC 5-4 via tiebreaker. The score was tied 1-1 after full time with Ramesh and Laxman Rao scoring for the former and latter respectively.

In the tie-breaker Srinu, Anil, Ramesh and Giri converted for ASMFC while Kranti, Laxman and Kirti Kumar scored for Polamamba.
