Two drown in lake

CHENNAI: Two persons drowned in the Chembarambakkam lake while swimming at Kundrathur here on Tuesday.

Police said M. Siva (26) and S. Ganesan (38) were swimming along with their relatives when they went missing. A.Raj (29), one of their relatives, who realised that the duo was missing, raised an alarm drawing the attention of locals. After a thorough search, the Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services personnel retrieved the bodies, police said.
