Two arrested for extortion calls

NEW DELHI: Two young men have been arrested for allegedly making threatening calls to extort money from a factory owner in Narela.

According to the police, Amrinder Singh would call up Mukesh Mangla on his cell phone posing as a militant and demand Rs.20 lakh. Amrinder threatened to blow up Mukesh’s factory if his demand was not met.

Amrinder was arrested at Loni in UP on Monday. His relative Sachin was later arrested at his instance for providing details of the victim.
